What we collect

What you give us. If you join The Forge, subscribe to the newsletter, download a resource, apply for coaching, or contact us, we collect the name and email address you enter, plus anything else you choose to tell us. These forms are handled by GoHighLevel, our customer relationship platform.

What’s collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and referring site. This comes from Jetpack, a WordPress.com service, and is used only to understand which guides are worth writing more of.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for, to run the community you joined, to answer you when you write, and to work out what to publish next. That’s the entire list.

We do not sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We share it only with the services that make this site run — GoHighLevel for email and community, WordPress.com and Jetpack for hosting and statistics — and only so they can do their job.

Cookies and affiliate links

This site uses cookies to keep it working and to count visits. Affiliate links may also set a cookie from the retailer so they know the visit came from here — that’s how the commission is tracked. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; nothing here will break if you do. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how those links work.

Your choices

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe and it works immediately. You can also ask us to show you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it entirely — just write and say so, and we’ll do it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone regardless.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
